The class is completing their Designer Baby blogs. Finally. Yes,I sat on top of them in class. I still think the time investment is worth it. We talked about landmark legal cases and choices in terminology, such as gestational carriers, not surrogates, or embryos, seldom babies.
The next topic is a comparison of mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis blog has information about mitosis. The girls are going to draw the stages of meiosis and them compare all of the similarities and differences between mitosis and meiosis. I'll post charts in about two weeks. BTW, I'm working on a comparative morphology chart and Human Anatomy crash course for the girls. Stay tuned!
