WA: Earth Science PBL and Watershed Dynamics

The class is using Blogger to organize their projects and learn to manipulate Blogger.  The blog should have videos germane to each topic.  For example, Bucks Institute for Education is the leader in PBLs.  Above is a video explaining how to craft the driving question for a PBL.  Their blogs will include webquests, such as Glencoe Chesapeake Bay Webquest.  The kids have been advised to 'vet' their materials.  For example, Glencoe Publishers have tons of webquests; they invariably have broken links.  Another objective is for the kids to evaluate their materials.  This particular webquest is typical of Glencoe, great material, too many broken links  What is a Watershed? is a good webquest. It references USGS, a reputable website with clean graphics and accurate information.
