It’s hard for kids to understand that concepts in Chemistry scaffold. Yesterday, each teen had a different reaction to write, balance, and determine the grams of reactants to produce two grams of the precipitate. The kids need to be able to write the formulas, calculate molar masses, and apply Stoichiometry to determine the moles and grams of each reactant. Below are the equations and two sample solutions.
