Ipads

 What can you do with older iPads?  I have a stack of iPads and old iPhones we use.  The kids use them for research, timers, and pix.  Often kids take a photo of notes and email to themselves.  The kids meet remotely via Google Meet or Zoom with older iPads.  Our collection of older iPhones and iPads is from our family.  I keep the older iPhones when my husband upgrades his cell phone.  My son gives me his older iPads when he upgrades his, too.  Below is a screen shot of the protective case my son buys for his devices.  (It is much less expensive than an Otter box.). Here is one advantage for using older tech.  Often the devices are slow.  The kids get the best results opening one tab at a time.  This reduces the temptation to browse more interesting web sites or social media.  Hold on to older tech!
