Today the kids did the Jelly Belly Dichotomous Key activity and set up the Experimental Design lab described here and here. We added a combination to our list, yeast, buttermilk, and lactaid. The kids prepared 8 sets of variables with three test tubes to do three trials simultaneously. I had a bunch of test tubes and test tube wracks. Soda bottles would work as well.
