Friday Funday: Flyers

 Let’s make flyers!  You can test them in the basement or outside, if the weather cooperates.  Kiddos love flyers.  I have some ideas.

Super Simple Flyers

1. Make a Paper Plate Flyer

2. Build Roto-Copters with these step-by-step instructions.

3. Paper Airplanes are a must.  Be sure to try this NASA template. 

4. Super Flyers  and Waldorf Hand Kites look like fun toys the older kiddos can make for the babies.

5. Ring Wing Glider—from JPL

6. Pool Noodle Rocket Flinger

7. Straw Rockets

Toys: 

1. Ring Flyer.  Toss and ordinary Frisbee and a Ring Flyer at the same time and compare results.

2.  Dragonfly helicopter toys come in all sizes.  Wear safety glasses!  These can fly back in your face!

3. The 4M Water Rocket requires plastic bottles and a bicycle hand pump.  I can attest that this brand works well.
