Project Learning Tree

Project Learning Tree is similar to Project Wet; it’s a series of activities relating to trees.  Try several sample activities to see if they resonate.  The PLT trainings are interactive; the guide has tons of activities for elementary aged kiddos.  The issue is obtaining training.  Try not to get roped into becoming a facilitator.  

Home Tweet Home includes making animal masks and edible bird nests.  Here are more PLT nest ideas.  Sample a few family activities:  A Tree’s Life, Trees as Habitats, and Getting in Touch with Trees.  The activities are based on nature, trees, and wildlife.
