Science at the Beach

 Before your beach vacation this summer, do a few science activities or some research.  You might want to collect materials for a Beach in a Box.  I made a short list of ideas and articles below.

1. What is a Sea Breeze?

2. Sandy Beaches

3. Beach Erosion

4. Ocean in a Bottle also has some science information about currents and waves—not jus the craft.

5. Beach Ecology and Barrier Beach Ecology have great ideas, such as making a Model Tidepool.
