Science Strategies: Science Fair Back Boards

A completed science fair project requires a display, the project back board.  This is usually a tri-fold.  Here are ISEF’s 2026 Display Guideline.  Here is another explanation with examples. Here is a guide to hold to organize the project board.  It helps to look at previous Finalists’ projects.  Standard display boards meet the guidelines.  It is critical to read exactly what must and must not be on the display.  Take a look at winning projects.  Visit different websites and here to scan displays.  Note how uniform the display boards are.  Displays are neat, complete, and informational.  Any image used from the web must be cited.  It pays to take and use your own photos.
