Science and Snow is a higher level article, suitable for high school. The ChemMatters articles are easier to read and add to science lessons. How can you use these articles with your lessons? Look at the Teacher’s Guide (pp. 36-46). Start by reading the article and completing the questions and graphic organizer. Watch the Doping Video cited in the guide. Make DIY Hand warmers or test Reusable Hand Warmers. Watch the Science of Hand Warmers. Take photos of the lab. Create a citation page with the articles and videos. Just like that you have an extra project set for your digital portfolio. Bonus points if you add a lab report!
