Botany Series: Start with 700 Experiments

Botany is one topic the entire family can tackle, especially now that Spring is just around the corner.  Apologia’s Young Explorers’ Series has Botany.  Here is a sample of the textbook which includes the table of contents.  Please note the huge number of plant experiments, including a Flower Dissection.  My Co-op is going to perform several plant experiments from 700 Experiments for Everyone. (There are screenshots below.)  There are sufficient experiments here for an entire Botany unit.  A few experiments require more sophisticated equipment.  I wouldn’t fret about skipping those.  Some of the expressions are quaint, such as ‘old, potted meat jar’.  Any glass jar will do.  700 Experiments is a gem!
