The Biology class will begin the Cell Module (Module 6 in Apologia Biology, 2nd edition or Module 4 in Apologia Biology, 3rd edition) on Tuesday, right after an introduction to digital microscopes. I start with cell structure and function. Inside the Cell from NIH is one of my favorite resources. I encourage kids to use the pdf file for the images and descriptions of each organelle’s functions. I’m using this slideshow as part of the introduction. I plan to try this Cell Theory Rap. I need to warn the kids to wear their Depends.
