Right now, the stores are stocked with candy. In our little household, any science experiment with candy is a good experiment. Since we are extracting DNA from split peas, I thought we might as well make Edible DNA. Making models always seems like a giant pain. But, I’ve learned they help kids understand concepts, especially a concept such as DNA. Mini- marshmallows were not available. Paul had to cut up large marshmallows.
