My kids are working on timelines and memorizing 50 elements from the Periodic Table. I’m using Putting the Ions in Their Hands and teaching how to name ionic compounds. If you look at the slideshow you’ll see loads of examples. The kids are completing the data tables after we Zoom, as part of class. Below are examples from a student. Creating the compounds with the ions really helps kids understand how to write and name formulas.
