My kids are using Claim-Evidence-Reasoning to explain discrepant events, including this Flinn video. One of the discrepant events in the video is Shrinking Liquids. I made a quick video with a hint for the kids. Yes, the ping pong balls have eye balls. I use them for VBS and catapults. Take a look.
